OVERVIEW

Rubber products manufacturer via compression molding or transfer molding is hiring for a full time position in the production floor area.
This company is a full-service manufacturer of custom precision rubber products.  They have the materials, equipment, and expertise to meet the specialty rubber needs of a large variety of industries.
The company has the capability to manufacture parts using either compression or transfer molds.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Molds can be from 1 cavity to 1000 cavities. 
• Presses can accommodate mold sizes from 6” x 6” in 20 ton presses to 38” x 38” in 750 ton presses.
• Work with a variety of automated loading and unloading devices. 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to read
• Excellent attendance
• Clean criminal background
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tasks
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to use micrometers/calipers

WORK HOURS/SHIFT
• 5 AM – 3 PM,  M-Th.

LOCATION
• Mt. Carroll, IL

WAGE
• $11.86 per hr.

OVERVIEW
Welcomes visitors and clients by greeting them in a friendly, professional manner both in person and by telephone; answering inquiries or referring to the appropriate staff. Maintain the waiting lists for all programs and provide administrative office support to the Executive Director and general office staff as directed.  This position requires excellent customer service skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide excellent, professional customer service at all times by greeting visitors and clients both in person and by telephone, answering multiple incoming lines and directing calls to the appropriate staff.
• Provide administrative office support to the Executive Director and general office staff as directed.
• Maintain a working knowledge of federal and local program policies as it relates to programs administered by this Authority and providing general program information to clients, property owners, and the general public.
• Maintain the waiting lists for all programs by distributing, collecting, processing, updating and maintaining applications.
• Contact persons on the waiting lists as directed and remove applicants from the waiting lists as appropriate. This includes sending letters and documenting outcomes of all applicants.
• Manage written communications including incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails.
• Receive rental payments from clients in a fiscally responsible manner including the safekeeping of funds in transport to the bank.
• Maintain the work order system including receiving, distributing, and tracking all work orders.
• Maintain and monitor an adequate supply of applications, forms, handouts, etc. for all programs including ordering and maintaining an inventory of office supplies.
• Manage general maintenance of printers/copiers, calling for service as needed.
• Organize and maintain the outer office and reception area including supply cabinets, bulletin boards, copier/printers, file cabinets, etc.
• Protect and maintain the confidentiality of all persons requesting and/or receiving assistance from this Authority and all other Authority business that is not otherwise Public Information.
• This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and to contribute positively as part of the Housing Authority team.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Valid driver's license
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to relate well with diverse populations
• Strong communication (both written and oral) and clerical skills
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Exchange
• Ability to learn industry specific software
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
• Willingness to work collaboratively with other Housing Authority staff and the human service partners for the promotion of affordable housing

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.  AA degree and/or related work experience preferred

WAGE
• $12/hr.

HOURS
• Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
