OVERVIEW
Performs manual labor along a production line making large chain.  Operates and troubleshoots production line machinery.  Maintains required documents and records work orders, production reports, and proper parts labeling (route cards). 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain efficiency by identifying problems and seek action to resolve issues.
  • Performs all quality-related responsibilities that will ensure that the product meets customer needs.  This includes blueprint reading, first piece inspection, using measuring instruments, and any other quality-related process.  Maintain ISO 9001 standards at all times.
  • Ensure that all necessary information is communicated within the cell, as well as to the following:  Planners, Tech TEAM, Group Leaders, and Coach.  Help one another by being open, honest, and constructive when communicating.
  • Must be flexible in accepting assignments and make positive contributions. 
  • Abide by all safety procedures and let others know of possible safety hazards that they are not aware of.  Maintain clean work area.  Keep materials well organized.
  • Must maintain an excellent attendance record.  Be at assigned workstation at the start of each shift and upon return of designated breaks.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance as required.  Meet preventative maintenance responsibilities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

OVERVIEW
Support The Company Business with quantitative analysis and project execution and support.  Serve as a point contact for market based data focused on heavy industry and conveying and power transmission markets for agriculture, metals, oil and gas, cement, power generation, and food and beverage to support growth strategies.
Responsible for integrating and leveraging communications using appropriate advertising, sales promotion and/or publicity tactics designed to meet plan objectives.  Attendant communications are either developed internally by the individual or awarded to external agency resources. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Communications and Analytical Support: 

  • Capture, process, interpret, and communicate internal market specific data for regularly generated reporting and ad-hoc requests to include but not limited to sales and orderbook trends, achievement of business plans, and overall market profitability.
  • Research and communicate external market activities including economic and market drivers and indicators, industry investments, production trends, customer activity and environmental characteristics for assigned markets.
  • Market research to identify market size, segmentation, growth, and market share by market.
  • Support the population and use of the installed base database with data capture, loading, and engagement with regional marketing teams and users.

Project Support and Execution: 

  • Support market and program managers as needed on evaluation of growth opportunities.
  • Support go to market and new product launch projects with market intelligence and target customer and competitive analysis.
  • Lead small individual projects related to market growth or development of internal analytical or evaluation tools. 
  • Function as both a member of the relevant sales and marketing team providing insight and input on building the bran through key marketing programs requiring marketing communications support. 
  • Develop marketing communications plans to support initiatives emanating from the market segment(s).
  • Must build consensus for the general direction of the plan and gain appropriate approvals and monetary support.
  • Deliver well-conceived, effective advertising, promotion and publicity materials on-time and within budget parameters. 
  • Include measurement in tactical plans.
  • Leverage relationships with trade and business press editorial staff to support publicity initiatives that showcase The Company and its products.
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of vendors supporting marketing communications programs.
  • Offer communications counsel on a variety of marketing programs.
  • Anticipate evolving trends in the communications business and their applicability to The Company.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong analytical capabilities to compile, organize, and interpret data.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; Excel and Access for data manipulation.
  • Exposure to process industries markets via prior roles (pricing, supply chain, etc.)
  • Timeline management and execution.

The Sectional Former – Ringbender will be operating forming presses to complete auger sectional rings.  Match newly formed rings to appropriate fixture to make an acceptable product.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Rework sectional rings that are not formed properly.
  • Set-up presses for each job.
  • Continuously pick up and handle average to heavy weight material.
  • Responsible for quality:  Accept training in blueprint reading, use of gauges and measuring tools common to manufacturing, along with related statistical process control principles and other quality control procedures.
  • Prepare and clean work area.
  • Back-up operator for laser operations.

  • Must be willing to train and operate laser table.

Hot Form Machine Operator

OVERVIEW
With minimal assistance, performs the duties required to setup and operate the Hatebur hot nut-forming machines in accordance with specifications and tooling instructions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primarily operates Amp 20 or 30 machines
  • Operates the hydraulic press to assemble die packs when necessary
  • Changes feed rollers, shearing, and steel without assistance when necessary
  • Assures a sufficient supply of tools, including pre-assembled tool packs at the workstation
  • Interprets and responds immediately to SPC chart variances
  • Performs tasks utilizing blueprint and tooling requirements
  • Checks finished product with appropriate measures, including micrometers, calipers, scales, plug gauges, dial indicators, and concentricity gauges
  • Repairs worn or broken tools and equipment malfunctions with minimal assistance
  • Checks for and assures that proper clearances are set, proper timing is met, and proper material is used
  • Checks quality of parts utilizing S.P.C.
  • Maintains accurate record of production, downtime and inspection
  • Performs minor machine maintenance, including greasing, adding lubricants, and materials
  • Uses a variety of hand and air tools, precision instruments, and gauges
  • Assists in the training of other operators on Amp 20 or 30 machines
  • Keeps work areas orderly: i.e., bar rack, work bench, machine and inspection tables
  • Supports continuous quality improvement
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and guidelines.
  • Other duties may be assigned or required for this position

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-starter
  • Receptive to ongoing training
  • Working knowledge of metrics
  • Minimum of four years manufacturing or mechanical experience or equivalent
  • Consistently meets expected production standards and maintains no more than two quality control rejections in any six-month period.  (A rejected part is defined as one that is nonfunctional.)
