Position Summary:  Provide materials, warehouse, and inventory management related services to the Business Unit. Deliver quality customer service by ensuring materials (may include both direct and indirect materials) are available at the appropriate locations as needed by operations per plan. Responsible for ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed and the appropriate reports, records and documents are maintained. Responsible for full life cycle management of materials purchased/manufactured by the company.

Essential Job Duties:
• Supports operations team as an expert on inventory transactions.
• Acts as a leader when supporting the physical inventory process.
• Supports lean initiatives of the Kanban process, visual shop floor controls, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Run critical shortage report and expedite as required
• Support COGI & inventory accuracy activities (including Inventory Audits)
• Control inventory in & out of departments
• Expediting material in house
• Inter-factory Shipment (Major Components)
• Pick Verification (quantity available, location, and completion)
• Root Cause Analysis, relative to material availability at point of use(MA@POU)
• Resolve Area Problem Resolution (Damage, Space, replenishment method/frequency adjustments etc.)
• New product Material Plan Execution
• Resolve/Overflow Area Management, Measurement, and Resolution

Minimum Requirements: 
• Interpersonal Skills that support a team/collaborative environment
• Effective Communication Skills when dealing with team members on the shop floor, planning team, Supply management team, and potentially manufacturing engineering.
• Computer application / program skills
o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) -experience in Excel Macro writing/editing preferred
o SAP - experience in PP, SD, MM, IM, and/or WM
• Project Management Skills
• Time Management Skills Analytical Skills
• Ability to be decisive and quickly adjust to changing priorities.
• Strategic/critical thinking in material flow and execution

Education and/or Experience:  Preferred Associate Degree and/or experience in Supply Chain, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Industrial Technology, or Manufacturing Technology.  Bachelor in Supply Chain, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Logistics, Industrial Technology, or Manufacturing Technology preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management preferred.

Location: Fulton, IL and Clinton, IA

Shift: Day shift Monday – Friday starting at 6a or 7am.

Welders Clinton, IA

OVERVIEW
Local company currently seeking an experienced welder for the Auger Mount department.  The duties of the welder will be to perform repetitive duties, welding components on shafts to various sized Augers.  The welder will work from shop orders, verbal instructions provided, and blueprints.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set heat temperatures on welders.  Hand crank material into location.  Position attachment or flight and activate welder; inspect weld and make minor adjustments as necessary.
  • Inspect welds for proper location and making minor adjustments to position of welder gun.
  • Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective material and refer questionable cases to supervisor.  Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper manner.
  • Place finished chain on pallet.  When flight welding, must be able to lift chain from pallet to weld bench and back to pallet when completed.
  • Responsible for quality:  Accept training in blueprint reading, use of gauges and measuring tools common to manufacturing, along with related statistical process control principles and other quality control procedures.
  • Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety practices/procedures.
  • Complete all training necessary to ensure all job specifications are met. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years of manufacturing welding experience desired. 
  • Blueprint reading

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Welding certification preferred.

Position Summary:

The forklift operator is self-directed in performing a variety of somewhat repetitive duties, primarily associated with the receiving, shipping, storing, and moving of materials.  Work from load list, shop orders, bills of lading, and verbal instructions.

• Load and unload material from common carrier using forklift or dollies.  Inventory all items received by count or number and store in specified areas.  Band and tag material.

• Perform preventive maintenance on forklift, such as checking tires, oil, battery, water, and gas.

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper manner.
• Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures.

• Use portable scanners to make inventory transactions as required by the operation being performed.

• Work with shipping of in-bound and out-bound parts to meet customer specifications
• Assist shipping department with special packaging and inspections – such as test parts and service requirements
• Assist as needed in sampling new parts and documenting the paint processes
• Assist inspecting and determining root-cause for company rejects, defects or product returns
• Coordinate and document quality concerns to make both shifts aware of present issues
• Assist QA line and other supervisors as required
• Work with new and current employees (load, QA, buff, sand and shipping) to maintain high quality levels
• Advise employees and supervisors when quality levels are not being maintained or procedures that are not followed.
• Assist with packaging and inventory of raw or finished product part for service or production.

OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES

The Machinery Lubrication Technician will be responsible for executing lubrication tasks related to industrial machinery including but not limited to:

Re-grease electric motors

  • Re-grease bearings
  • Visual machine inspections
  • Breather changes
  • Oil changes
  • Oil & Grease sample collection
  • Perform minor equipment modifications
  • Identify areas for improvement with respect to machinery lubrication & contamination control

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

The Machine Lubrication Technician Level I position requires the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and good team building skills.
  • Goal oriented, detail oriented, and interested in advancement and professional growth.
  • Capability to work in an unsupervised position effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as:
    • OEM Maintenance plans
    • Blue prints
    • Advanced Lubrication Technology instruction and recommendations
    • Software system instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) for the purpose of interpreting alarms, calculating lubricant inventory and calculating re-lubrication quantity considerations, etc…
  • Have a strong fundamental understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and circulating systems operation, and contamination control and maintenance functions.
  • Should be qualified to operate lifting equipment (Fork Truck, Skip Hoist, Etc.)
  • Should be qualified to perform lockout-tag out procedures.
  • Must have demonstrated initiative and strong work habits.
