OVERVIEW:
Full-time opening in a local bank for an administrative assistant in the Trust Department.  Preference will be given to someone with excellent Microsoft Office skills and proven administrative assistant experience.

INITIAL DUTIES:
• Sort and distribute mail daily
• Print and distribute checks and trade advices daily
• Answer phones, greet and direct customers
• Scanning as needed
• File legal documents, tax returns, bills,and correspondence in account files, as needed
• Print and mail periodic customer statements monthly
• New account setup, verification, and name/address changes as needed
• Will be trained to utilize the Trust Portal system and become familiar with trust account customers and how the department operates

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
• Take minutes at weekly departmental meetings (Fridays at 8 AM)
• Prepare monthly Trust Committee packets and meeting minutes
• Maintain office equipment, order and stock supplies weekly, as needed
• Maintain will file and burial trust files
• Prepare maturity notices monthly and farm leases annually
• Maintain record retention schedules annually
• Maintain rent and promissory note payments monthly, as payments are received


SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Good personal credit score

WORK HOURS/SHIFT:
8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday, with probability of every 5th Saturday as a receptionist at the Main Bank.

LOCATION:
• Clinton

WAGE:
• $11.50 or based on experience
