JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep machines stocked with raw materials and keep the area and machines clean
• Check quality at machines
• Bring empty pallets to the floor when needed
• Pull completed pallets with finished goods to staging area
• Pull full gaylords to the back and replace with empty
• Sweep Floors / dump trash

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor product being produced by Injection Molding presses to insure parts are being produced to meet our customer’s requirements
• Read and show good comprehension of Lomont’s Quality and Operator Procedures and requirements
• Visually inspect product per established inspection criteria and operator instructions found in the items (BOM) standard
• Perform any secondary work that may be required to finish the item/part(s) before packaging
• Package and count parts as defined in the packing instructions
• Communicate all quality issues or concerns to the Shift Supervisor and/or Team Leader as soon as a concern or question develops
• Good housekeeping – maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to lift 35 pound boxes to chest height multiple times per hour
• Willingness to learn and apply what is learned to assigned tasks
• Able to read, write, and comprehend both written and verbal instructions.  This is extremely important when it comes to operator training and insuring high part quality and the safety of our workforce
