Local Leveraged Furniture Operation Company is seeking a Leave of Absence Administrator. This role will assist a 6-month project in a temporary capacity and based on the project’s success, could extend into a permanent role within the organization. This position will work full-time hours, Monday through Friday. Pay for this position will depend on experience and qualifications.

The Leave of Absence Administrator coordinates details from the initial request for leave through the return-to-work status, ensuring all processes of federal and state regulations are followed. Maintain close connections with members and other MCR team members/Payroll/Timekeeping/Legal throughout the campus and keep operation’s leaders informed about expected duration, return to work dates, extensions, etc. 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, track/maintain, and manage member LOA records, processes MCF/key changes into Enterprise, pay/FMLA time taken, and status of leave in a separate Leave Management tool from start to finish.
  • Manages intake of leave requests, sending required notices, forms and letters, determine eligibility.
  • Upon return to work, partner with Safety/GL to coordinate any necessary ADA accommodations; complete temporary/transitional duty assignment and track accommodations.
  • Provide support for all member LOA/ADA needs
  • Manage LOA tracker, LFO databases and systems
  • Upkeep LOA & ADA SharePoint site
  • Ongoing communications throughout entire process of administration
  • Manage ADA process
  • Schedule necessary LOA/ADA training for MCR, Group Leaders/Team Leaders, Timekeepers, member conversations, roundtables, etc.

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or other related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • PHR preferred
  • Full understanding of FMLA laws and LOA knowledge
  • Work efficiently and independently, prioritize, and detail oriented
  • Deliver great customer service and have strong verbal and written skills
