OVERVIEW

Temp-to-Hire job opportunity. Industrial facility in Keosauqua.  Always something new with this job with machine operations in which products are bent, shaped, welded, painted, anodized, and galvanized. You will have a hard time getting bored at this job!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans machining by studying work order, blueprint, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters
• Working on a variety of machines and in various areas
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

• Dependable and reliable
• Strong mathematical and problem solving abilities
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to stand for 8 hrs
• Strong hand/eye coordination
• Strong attention to detail

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Previous experience in a machine shop or as a Machine Operator a plus!

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• 1^st Shift is Monday – Friday / 6 am – 2:30 pm
• 2^nd Shift is Monday – Thursday 2:15P – 12:45A

WAGE

• $14/hr starting wage
• Generous increases in pay upon conversion
