OVERVIEW

Our Grinnell client company is looking for a Plant Secretary to join their office. This is considered a temp-to-hire position. 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the production staff
  • Processing weekly time and attendance records
  • Maintaining and processing all shop orders, purchase orders and vendor orders
  • Typing and filing of paperwork
  • Sending and receiving e-mail and faxes
  • Distributing mail throughout the plant
  • Perform other duties as requested by Manager.


SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Secretarial experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Excellent communication and math skills
  • Post High School education preferred.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Applicant must be proficient at data entry and computer systems and be familiar with general office procedures
  • Post High School education in relatable field
  • Drug screen and background check required

 

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

  • 40 hours a week. Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

 

WAGE

  • $15-18/hr. Dependent on experience
