Responsible for hanging parts on the appropriate rack in the prescribed manner.  This position is also responsible for properly preparing each part for maximum success going through the paint system; this can include but is not limited to sanding, wiping, flame treating and prewashing.  This position requires good hand/eye coordination, the ability to lift 60lbs and someone capable of performing in a fast paced environment.


  • SOCO (Safe, Operational, Clean, Organized)
  • Maintain load area and all equipment at an acceptable level (clean, organized, operational)
  • Wear all required safety equipment and work in a safe manner


  • Be able to identify defects before entering the system.  
  • Basic understanding of parts and racks.  
  • Basic understanding of the load schedule.  
  • Ability to operate the two way radio

Junior Loader:

  • Ability to prep all parts with minimal error.   
  • Understanding of material and probable defects that occur with that material. 
  • Ability to read and understand the paint schedule.  
  • Ability to set up racks without supervision.  
  • Basic knowledge of program specific forms that need to be filled out. 
  • Ability to handle the two way radio and being able to call out for racks and respond to inquiries to load when necessary.

Senior Loader:

  • Complete understanding of the work instructions and special process's that may need done for acceptable part after paint.  
  • Ability to adjust paint schedule if necessary.  
  • Ability to train new hires on all aspects of the job.  
  • Be able to complete all paperwork related to their department without assistance.
  • Complete all skills listed above without assistance.  
  • Ability to set up breaks for their department depending on schedule difficulty. 
  • Ability to communicate defects with management and customers if necessary.
