A local non-profit organization of Muscatine is seeking a Programs Manager. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating and implementing programs within the organization’s policies, state compliance, and national standards, including fund establishment, granting, scholarships, awards, and other programs.

Primary contact with clients and potential clients, as well as affiliate community foundation.

Work with clients to establish new funds.

Manages on-line grant/scholarship software. Facilitates selection committees and/or the process. Ensure eligibility.

Monitors the progress of awarded grants/scholarships including the submission of reports, subsequent payments and other related correspondence with grantee organizations.

Coordinate grant and scholarship committee meetings, communicate with selection committees and provide necessary supportive documents in the review and decision-making process, and ensure meetings are documented.

Maintain updated records in both digital and printed formats as assigned. Maintain updated fund/ grant /scholarship information on website and media/collateral in conjunction with the Communications Coordinator.

Provide continuous administrative support for all program and service areas of the organization including donor, financial, and nonprofit services.

Take lead on special programs and other projects that promote fund growth, community-building, and awareness of the Foundation.
Educational/Experience Requirements

A college degree or certificate, preferred.

3-5 years in related roles

Demonstrates proficiency using Microsoft Office support software including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Demonstrates ability to process a high volume of information with a high level of accuracy and problem solving.

Strong presentation and written communication skills.
