Our Grinnell client is looking for a couple new welders to join their team.  This is a temp to hire position.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welding steel, aluminum and other various metals. MIG and TIG welding knowledge *required*

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior machine operation (press brakes, roll formers, and sheers) and welding (MIG & TIG).  Experience with sheet metal, aluminum and galvanized steel. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • MIG and TIG Welding experience (sheet metal, steel, aluminum experience)
  • Machine Operator Experience

 

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

  • Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm Some overtime is required

WAGE

  • $20/hr. --- once hired on you will go to a piece rate!

Paint Line

  • Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments

  • Transport filled orders to and from shipping area

Press Operators

Our client company in Victor, IA is looking for Press Operators. Press operators work independently to make, pack and ship good parts to our customer’s specifications. Operators need to work at a productive pace and communicate any issues with a supervisor or quality (QA) member. Operators will be asked to multi task and run more than one press at a time. Your attendance and work ethic are essential to a positive work environment. This is a temp to hire position.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Operators work for 8-12 hours a day pending their dedicated schedule.
  • Operators are required to document production and record product daily.
  • Operators must be able to use tools of the trade, such as but not limited to: Knives, clippers, drills, pin gauges, and tape gun.
  • Operators work should be neat and tidy. Please write legibly as possible, tape and labels need to be straight and applied properly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Operators must be able to read, understand and follow written instructions, quality alerts and other required information.
  • Operators need to be prepared to stand for most, if not all, of their shift.
  • Operators need to be able to identify, record and dispose of rejected parts correctly.
  •  Attendance and being punctual is a must.
  • Drug screen and background check required

 

HOURS:

Cheese Production

Our Client company in Newton, IA is looking to add several production workers to their team. These position are temp to hire position. To be considered for this position, you must be fully vaccinated (or willing to be vaccinated) and pass a pre employment drug screen and background check.

 

Job Duties:

Assist in hooping cheese vats

Transport fresh cheese to table room

Operating curd pump

Clean and sanitize vats, carts, hooping boards, and utensils and curd pump post hooping

Clean and sanitize environment and drain post production

Document on Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and Drain Log 

Wash floors at end of shift

Ensure each lot is labeled correctly

Handle the product in a safe and hygienic manner

Be careful to not over salt the cheese wheels

Document lot # for salt on Lot Tracking Sheet

 

Qualifications:

Production Coordinators must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Able to spend 8 hours on feet.

Effective communication skills; written and verbal.

Flexibility to conduct multiple tasks throughout each day.

 

Schedule:

7am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday 

Two fifteen-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch are allotted.

Some overtime may be required due to production needs.

Pay: 

 

$16/hr.
