A manufacturing facility in Moscow, IA has a need for phone operators in their call center.  This position will work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with additional hours needed during peak season of 8am-5pm.  Pay is $16/hr. and this is a long-term position with temp-to-hire opportunities!

• Answer incoming phone calls in their call center in a timely and professional manner
• Assist customers with questions and transfer to appropriate departments

Machine Operator - Durant

A manufacturing company in Durant, IA, needs operators in their Closure area. These positions are available on 1st or 2nd shift and have a possibility to go full-time with the company.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Tear out and separate parts. Pull raw material based on work orders from the warehouse accurately and efficiently.
  • Take raw material and operate a shaker table to get the fasteners racked and prepped for painting.
  • Follow the information as outlined on the work orders to obtain zero errors.
  • Clean all tools and work area to comply with 5S process.
  • Notify Group Leader of any issues as they arise throughout the work shift.

SHIFT

Machine Operator - Wapello, IA

OVERVIEW
Individual will be performing various tasks within a variety of production area(s) as needed. This will require the ability to operate various equipment and tools with training available on the job.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
Job duties will include but not limited to:

  • Operating a variety of machines such as: punch press, hydraulic press, brake press drill press, rollform, powder coat paint line and welding
  • Moving and maneuvering carts and coils of  steel
  • Performing quality checks on steel for proper length using various gages and calibers
  • Performing visual inspection of completed parts for quality and production defects
  • Must be able to complete accurate daily production  paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Job requires a motivated, self-starter with initiative and a positive attitude. Individual must be dependable and have mechanical abilities to produce quality parts in a fast paced manufacturing operation. Job requires an individual who is conscientious about safety and quality.

SHIFTS

Admin Assistant

Specific Responsibilities
1. Perform administrative functions, including:
    a. Answer phones, screening, and routing as needed. Take messages or assist callers as appropriate.
    b. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and distribute departmental reports as directed.
    c. Create and send out correspondence as directed, maintaining correspondence files as needed.
    d. Assist departments in collecting, organizing, verifying accuracy, and updating documents as requested.

    f. Maintain electronic and paper filing systems as directed, ensuring documents are saved or scanned in the Utility’s document     management system.
    g. Maintain supplies and enter purchase and material requests for items needed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Department-Specific Responsibilities
1. Manage reservations for plant vehicles.
2. Maintain petty cash fund at Generation site.
3. Assist gate personnel with visitors and paperwork, contacting proper personnel when needed.
4. Review and approve timesheets for payroll submissions
5. Maintain office supply stock levels
6. Monitor and maintain printer/fax machine operation and coordinate repairs as needed
7. Perform note taking functions in Generation Department meetings
8. Perform spelling and grammar checking of documents being readied for distribution
9. Organize meals and refreshments for departmental meetings
10. Post company announcements on bulletin boards
11. Manage mail distribution in office setting
12. Assist with P-Card account balance reporting

Qualifications
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of administrative support experience.

Packer Handler

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect product to insure quality.
• Complete assembly of product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required while keeping up with the production machines cycles.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per instructions that vary with different customers and orders.
• Prepare proper product identification and/or packaging labels.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.

• Must be able to keep up with the fast paced production cycles.

HelpDesk Representative

A Local Utility Company has an immediate opening for a qualified HelpDesk Representative 4 days a week. This is a temporary position projected to last through February 2025. 

Job Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot customer issues with Communications Utility products and services (email, Internet, TV), promoting communications services.
• Using the approved communications model to ensure customers are handled efficiently and with respect, respond to customer telephone calls and emails as they relate to services and products provided by the Utility:
• Answer questions and perform business relating to all utilities, including, but not limited to residential applications for service, rates, promotions, policies, and service rules.
• Promote the use of and sell communication services to customers.
• Create service orders for field personnel based on customer needs, calling out personnel depending on the situation.
• Accept payments over the phone and accurately enter the transactions.
• In conjunction with Trafficking Specialist, test all communications equipment as it is returned from the customers location.
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, notifying the appropriate department of the issue.
• Interact with other technical areas of the Utility to address customer concerns or identified problems with the network.
• Back up Customer Services Representatives as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hours/Pay
• 8a-6:30p (Wed-Sat)
• $15.00/hr.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma/GED required. Associate’s degree with an emphasis in technical training/coursework related to networking or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, prior helpdesk experience preferred.
• Familiar with a variety of computer software/hardware applications along with a basic understanding of TCP/IP and associated network components as they relate to Internet connectivity.
• Knowledge, or ability to obtain knowledge, of electric, water, garbage, sewer, cable, and Internet products, services, policies and rate structure.

Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for documenting troubleshooting efforts on behalf of a customer.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with ability to build productive professional relationships and promote a team atmosphere.
• Proficiency with use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel at an intermediate skill level.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred
• Good judgment and reasoning skills.
• Problem identification, analysis, and solving, especially for troubleshooting basic PC, email, Internet, cable TV, and other customer issues.
