ASSEMBLY TECH
OVERVIEW
Long term contract opportunities with well-established Burlington-area manufacturing facilities. The Assembly Technician will perform a wide variety of operations in the assembly, fabrication, and finish processing of various products and equipment. In these roles, you will be responsible for producing a variety of high-quality products on both moving assembly lines as well as stand-alone project builds.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assemble and fit mechanical and electrical parts/components
• Perform all job functions in accordance with the Engineering documentation and process instructions
• Work from verbal and written instruction, including blueprints and work order documents
• Use a variety of Quality techniques to manage production orders
• Appropriately record forms, signoff sheets, and checklists
• Complete safety training
• Be responsible for work area maintenance as well as general housekeeping
• Perform other related duties, as required
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic math skills
• Demonstrated experience working with hand and power tools preferred, not required
• Proven ability to take direction and follow instruction, both verbal and written.
• Ability to learn and apply safety and quality expectations in the workplace
ADVANCED SKILLS
• Forklift experience can qualify applicant for skilled positions.
• Welding experience can qualify applicant for skilled positions.
• Computer experience can qualify applicant for skilled positions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• High School Diploma/Equivalent – preferred, not required.
WORK HOURS/SHIFT
• All Shifts Available
• Occasional weekends
• Potential of mandatory overtime
WAGE
• $13.00 - $17.00
