OVERVIEW

Morrison Bank has immediate opening for a full-time teller. Tellers are responsible for accurately processing routine transactions at a bank. These transactions include, but are not limited to, cashing checks, depositing money, and collecting loan payments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prompt, courteous and professional banking services that exceed the expectations of its customers.
• Work as a team player that creates an atmosphere of trust, mutual respect, and reliance on one another. This team spirit empowers members to help make a difference in our customer's lives.
• Recognizes and appreciates our interdependence with our communities that we serve and eagerly supports them with our time, talent, and resources.
• Count the cash in their drawer at the start of their shift
• Accept checks, cash, and other forms of payment from customers
• Answer questions from customers about their accounts
• Prepare specialized types of funds, such as traveler’s checks, savings bonds, and money orders
• Exchange dollars for foreign currency
• Order bank cards and checks for customers
• Record all transactions electronically throughout their shift

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma
• Good personal credit
• Clean criminal background

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• Hours range from 7:15 AM – 5 PM M-F & 3 Saturdays per month 8 AM to 12 PM

LOCATION

• Morrison, IL

WAGE

• Starting wage between $13-15/hr. based on experience
