OVERVIEW

Temp-to-Hire job is at an industrial machine shop in Fairfield operating CNC machines to produce a variety of parts.  Steel toe/safety shoes are required. NEW Wage Increase!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Efficiently run a CNC Machine
• Calculate tolerances and use inspection tools for precise measurements
• General maintenance on CNC Machine
• Inventory parts and supplies
• Completion of inspection paperwork
• General housekeeping and other duties as may be assigned by management

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

• Dependable and reliable
• Knowledge of machine controls
• Ability to tolerate warm temperatures
• Strong mathematical and problem solving abilities
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to proper safety rules and regulations
• Ability to listen and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work efficiently and as a team lead

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Prior experience working in a machine shop preferred

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• Monday – Friday
• 1st shift 7am – 3 pm
• 2nd shift 3pm - 11pm
• 3^rd shift 11pm – 7am

WAGE

• $16.20/hr. with shift pay
• Generous incremental increases

SCREENING/TESTING REQUIREMENTS                         

• Pre-employment background screening
• Pre-employment drug test
