OVERVIEW
Local financial institution is seeking a Full-time and a Part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work at their Columbus Junction branch. These are temp-to-hire positions. Pay will depend on experience and qualifications.
Summary: The CSR trains as a teller, new account and operations representative. The position is based in Columbus Junction; must be willing to travel and work at any bank location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Will perform a variety of duties including teller operations, new accounts, deposit services, and bookkeeping.

Interacts with customers in person or via telephone, email to provide support and information on products or services.

Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist/manager or other appropriate staff.

Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer’s problems and concerns.

Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.

Maintains a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiables and confidential records.

To help develop customer relations and promote new business - Participates in community and volunteer events to increase the bank’s visibility within the community.
QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent customer service and organizational skills

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior cash handling experience required and previous banking experience is preferred

Bilingual is a plus
Must be able to pass a credit and background check.
