A local warehouse and logistics company is looking for a Customer Service Representative. This will be a temp-to-hire position and the hours are Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm (overtime is possible). This position will pay $15/hr to start ($16/hr when hired on).

This position provides a contact for customers to coordinate the flow of materials in and out of the company. It mostly involves working with customers to coordinate shipments and meet delivery requirements.  


  • Work with customers to coordinate shipments and meet delivery requirements.
  • Generate all related paperwork associated with customer shipments including warehouse pick sheets, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Communicate with carriers for transporting customer orders and receipts.  This includes greeting drives as they arrive and communicating loading and unloading process, and signing paperwork.
  • Promptly communicate any problems to the customer associated with outbound shipments and inbound receipts, including product availability, damage, inventory discrepancies, and carrier issues.
  • Furnish customer with inventory reports such as stock status, transaction history, tracing information as requested.
  • Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system and manage the integrity of inventory accuracy.  Properly file associates warehouse and shipping documents for future reference.

  • Highly detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Motivated individual with a good attendance record
  • Ability to adapt to different duties, due to where coverage may be needed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
