OVERVIEW
Temp-to-Hire. Full-time with immediate openings. Office position for local college in Fairfield, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit by assisting associates in our Career Center. Covid precautions and restrictions are in place.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Process student registration
-
Maintain office management
-
Work with the online and computer based communication and tracking system
-
Data entry
-
General office duties as needed
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
-
Experience and knowledge of operating computers and common software systems
-
Good customer service skills
-
Good touch typing keyboard skills (45/wpm)
-
Data entry experience
-
Ability to multi-task
-
Strong attention to detail with high accuracy
-
Ability to solve problems
-
Strong organizational skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
-
At least one year of office administrative experience
-
Ability to work with students through online communcations
-
Composing email with speed and accuracy and entering data
WORK HOURS/SHIFT
-
Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm with unpaid lunch hour (Upon conversion, option to work 40 hrs wk)
