Our client company is looking to add a housekeeper to their nursing home staff! This position is a full time temp to hire position.

Essential Functions:

1. Prepares and cleans vacant units for move-ins

2. Cleans common area, rest rooms, corridors, and stairways as needed.

3. Sweeps, scrubs, cleans floors

4. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.

5. Dusts and polish furniture and equipment when needed.

6. Empties wastebaskets and trash & transports waste to disposal area.

7. Replenishes bathroom supplies as needed.

8. Launders all needed items

9. Sanitizes all commonly touched areas

10. Tends to other areas of the nursing home as assigned


High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Two to three years relevant work experience preferred but not required


  • Cleaning and sanitation experience
  • Knowledge of safety procedures

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Organization skills
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment are essential.

Physical Requirements:

Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to kneel, crouch, climb, bend, and crawl, etc. to reach items in need of clean up. The employee must occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs. if necessary. Ability to operate all cleaning utilities needed, such as mop, vacuum, wax/buffing machine, etc.


Sunday – Thursday 5am – 1pm
