OVERVIEW:

Local business has an opening for a Full Time HR Administrative Assistant. This position is temporary but could turn into a temp-to-hire opportunity.Pay range for this position will depend on experience and qualifications. 

This position provides complete administrative support to the Chief Human Resource Officer in the Muscatine, IA office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle all incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls
  •  Assistance with travel booking and preparation of expense reports
  • Provide meeting setup, travel arrangements and other miscellaneous tasks/projects as needed
  • Format communications, presentations, and other documentation, as required, using company templates
  • Type, revise and combine materials such as correspondence, records, forms, meeting minutes, numerical data, and tabular information from rough draft, corrected copy or previous versions
  • Schedule use of conference rooms in the office

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-4 years office administrative experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficient in MS Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • An attitude and commitment to be an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
