INDUSTRIAL PAINTER

OVERVIEW

This is a Temp-to-Hire employment opportunity at a manufacturer in Burlington, IA.  This position requires that you will effectively and safely operate the painting and surface treatment systems to properly and efficiently apply heavy industrial coatings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand, interpret and properly apply work instructions
• Set up and operate painting systems in the Industrial Painting environment

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

• Possess and display good problem solving skills
• Ability to measure and adjust application methods to achieve desired results

• Good hand/eye coordination Ability to work efficiently with hands
• Compliance and attention to all safety regulations

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• 2 years experience working in a painting environment preferred

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• Monday – Thursday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm (will train on days)

WAGE

• $14.00/hr, DOQ
