The Marketing Coordinator keeps the website, campaign and other marketing items updated and coordinated with national branding and local information and programs. The Marketing Coordinator also designs/ writes and distributes news releases, campaign and special event pieces and other items as assigned.


  • Website : The Company uses a preformatted, drupal-based website that can be adapted to local needs and preferences. The website is a tool to educate and inform the community and current and potential donors about The Company using current and fresh information on The company, funded agencies, and community needs, following the annual plan and campaign needs. The company has functions to highlight: campaign (fall), allocations (spring), community needs, and the impact achieved with contributions.  National branding materials and extensive local information are available. The ultimate applicant brings to the job technical skills and creative ideas that drive home the importance of The Company and helping those in need in the community.
  • Social Media: The Company also uses Face book to educate and inform the community and current and potential donors about The company using and fresh information that supports the annual plan and campaign needs. Content should include pictures and results as well as promote events and activities.
  • Other Duties: Website development and social media content is only one facet of The company marketing approach. Other needs include developing fliers, emails, posters, advertising items, and other items assigned for campaign and other events to promote education and understanding of what The company does and its role in the community. Branding needs to be consistent and recognizable across all items. Local and national information and materials are readily available for creative ideas and use in eye-catching yet functional pieces.
  • Other Duties as Assigned by Supervisor



  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good design skills
  • Ability to work with people from all backgrounds.



  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing.
  • Experience and/or training will be considered in lieu of a degree.



24 hours per week specific days and hours agreed upon with supervisor.



  • $12/hr. or higher based on experience/skills
