A local employer is looking for an Office Clerk to work in their accounting department. This position will be temporary. The schedule can be flexible, M-F working approx. 30-40 hours a week. The pay for this position will be $14-18/hr DOQ.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
  • Set invoices up for payment and enter and upload invoices into system.
  • Posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records and reconciles accounts payable transactions
  • Opening daily mail
  • Other general office duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have prior experience with A/P and Accounting procedures
  • Must demonstrate computer proficiency and office skills
  • Attention to detail; thoroughness and organized
  • Must possess excellent communication skill both oral and written
