Our client company Maytag Dairy Farms in Newton, IA is looking to add several positions to their team. This is a temp to hire position where dependable attendance is required. To be considered for this position, you must be fully vaccinated (or willing to be vaccinated) and pass a pre employment drug screen and background check.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing cheese for shipment
• Scraping, cutting and wrapping cheese
• Preparting cheese to go shipping department
• Cleaning up department at end of each shift
• Other duties as assigned
• May cross train in other departments as needed
• Some overtime may be required

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

• Dependable and reliable
• Team oriented
• Physically fit
• Able to bend, stoop, and reach
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Strong hand/eye coordination
• Strong hand dexterity
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good attitude 
• Good personal hygiene

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Previous experience in a certified food facility helpful but not required

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• 7am – 4pm Monday – Friday 
• Two fifteen-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch are allotted.
• Some overtime may be required due to production needs.

WAGE

• $16/hr.
