Tool Changer

OVERVIEW
Currently recruiting Press Operators for a local manufacturer in Fort Madison, IA.    The Tool Changer is assigned to maintain molds, fill guns and assist in press maintenance as necessary. This position also is critical for the timely and thorough completion of mold changes to support the production schedule.  Work in a safe manner and keep work area clean and organized. Help to create an atmosphere promoting and encouraging teamwork.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Properly tend to molding press.
• Inspect parts from presses.
• Pack the parts according to the Parts Control Plan.
• Work in a safe manner.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Help to create an atmosphere promoting and encouraging teamwork.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to use hands and arms for long periods of time performing repetitive work
• Must be able to stand on concrete for 10 hours a day
• Must be available to work overtime as needed
• Must be dependable and have good attendance
• Must be able to maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with all safety procedures and regulations
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Good work history is also a plus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• High School Diploma/Equivalent

WORK HOURS/SHIFT
• First Shift 5am-3:30pm with potential overtime on Friday
• Second shift 3:00pm – 1:30am with potential overtime on Friday

WAGE
• $18.00/hr 1st Shift, $17.25/hr 2nd Shift

SCREENING/TESTING REQUIREMENTS
• Pre-employment background screening & drug testing
