OVERVIEW
-
This position is responsible for transporting materials and supplies to designated locations. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with occasional OT. Pay is $17/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
-

Keeps accurate records of stock moves, receipts, and shipments for reporting to warehouse office personnel.

Operates warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner to eliminate personal injuries, merchandise damage, and damage to the warehouse.

Operates various types of attachments and equipment required to handle merchandise.
-
Inspects forklifts daily to identify any potential problems with the equipment and reporting these potential problems to Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager. Perform minor maintenance to forklifts that can be accomplished with the tools available, and ability of employee. Use of Forklift, Floor Scrubber, and Slip-sheet, required.

Operates forklift between staging and work in process locations.

Performs or assists in building, grounds, and equipment cleaning. Understands the importance to participate in sanitation, pest control, and all other actions that promote food safety within the warehouse operation.

Supports the company goals, mission, and growth by representing GSTC positively to potential employment candidates, customers, and community members when appropriate.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
-
The warehouse environment can be dusty, dry, and humid, with temperature ranges between 40 - 90 degrees. Some odors might be present dependent upon the product in storage. Food allergens may be present in the warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Prior experience diving a forklift and/or prior exposure to a warehouse environment preferred.
-
Attention to detail and accuracy is required as it pertains to inventory transactions and insuring inventory accuracy.
-
Must be able to do basic math computation of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
-
Basic PC skills.
-
Must be able to maintain a high level of concentration while operating a forklift and documenting inventory transactions.
-
Ability to solve problems including space utilization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-
Must be able to constantly “get on and off” a forklift throughout the day.
-
Must be able to stoop, walk and bend.
-
Must be able to lift consistently a minimum of 50 and maximum of 60 pounds.

OVERVIEW

E&I Technicians respond to all electrical and instrumentation work in the plant. They work closely with the Production group to ensure electrical and control problems are isolated and repaired in an expedient manner. Technicians respond to electrical/control breakdown calls, troubleshoot/repair 480VAC power distribution problems, and troubleshoot/repair issues with the different control system platforms. This position is hourly and currently reports to the E&I Specialist.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Understand and comply with all plant rules and policies affecting work done by the E&I group.

Understand and use proper PPE and following safe work practices

The work done is in a plant environment, both inside and outside in all seasonal conditions. Must be able to climb stairs, work from elevated platforms and lifts, and be able to lift 50-lbs without assistance. Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Develop an understanding of plant processes to facilitate work involving process areas.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to use basic analyzers, including: Fluke Test equipment, Handheld HART tools

Understand, troubleshoot, and repair three-phase power distribution systems and equipment.

Understand, troubleshoot, and repair hard-wired control circuits. Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair all types of process instrumentation and control components, including: Flow Transmitters (magnetic, vortex and D/P) Level Transmitters (pressure, Radar, ultrasonic) Temperature transmitters.

Understand and comply with the National Electric Code

This position responds to all mechanical repair needs in the plant. They work closely with the Production group to ensure mechanical problems are isolated and repaired in a safe and expedient manner. Technicians respond to breakdown calls and work orders by troubleshooting and repairing the problems and perform regular preventative maintenance on a multitude of equipment types. This position reports to Maintenance Department Superintendent / Plant Shift Superintendent.
SKILLS
