A Local logistics company is seeking warehouse help related to repackaging, receipt, shipping, storage, and distribution. This position will also assist in loading, unloading, and move or store items by hand or equipment according to delivery, routing, or supervisor instructions.  Positions are 1st shift and Temp to Hire.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Count items received and verify them against packing lists, recording any discrepancies, or damage.
• Re-pack material or product
• Ability to read documents and/or follow a verbal instruction to determine the materials or products to be shipped and how the order is to be shipped.
• Lift heavy objects by hand/or by the use of a hand truck, gas or electric powered forklift, or other material handling equipment.
• Enter all information required on the shipping or receiving documents and/or appropriate forms relating to piece counts.
• Checks forklifts daily, prior to use, for any unsafe conditions.
• Load trucks with material and product ready for shipment. Unload trucks containing purchased material, product, and/or supplies.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, and attend training classes when required.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical skills-basic addition, subtraction, division, multiplication…etc.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Install insulation around piping
Make necessary adjustment for pipe fitting
Measure, cut, fabricate insulation and metal jackets using sharp knives, saws, tin snips, etc.
Climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding
Work off elevated lifts and/or extension ladders taller than 12' occasionally
Work in a construction environment
Work indoor and outdoor temperatures

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with pipe insulation/craftsman trade is preferred

The Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine has opened the leadership position of Executive Director/CEO following the announcement that our current Director is retiring after 10 years of service.

This position will lead a dynamic nonprofit organization with assets of $25 million, dedicated staff of two, committed board of directors, and expert investment committee. The Executive Director is responsible for implementing the strategic plan to attract, administer, and distribute charitable resources to fulfill the Community Foundation's mission to improve the quality of life throughout Muscatine County through philanthropy. The position requires a seasoned leader who brings extensive relationship building and considerable knowledge of non profit management, finance, and investments.
The Board of Directors brings diverse expertise to their roles and provides valuable resources of time, talent and treasure.  For the last ten years, 100% of the Board participates in our unrestricted operating Partners in Philanthropy campaign.  They also created and support the unrestricted Cares & Shares Endowment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Executive Director/CEO is a leadership position for the Community Foundation and its service area of Muscatine County. The Executive Director/CEO will be responsible for implementing CFGM’s strategic plan to attract, administer and distribute charitable resources to fulfill the CFGM mission to improve the quality of life throughout Muscatine County through philanthropy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure regular fiscal oversight of CFGM’s investment portfolio and component funds in concert with the Operations Administrator and Investment Committee
• Build a substantial endowment to provide for community needs for generations to come
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of National Standards, CFGM Policies & Procedures and implement all programs and services within them
• Serve as the lead person for CFGM at a wide range of public meetings, events, and other venues and work collaboratively at the local, state and national levels to advance the mission of the organization and community foundations

• CFGM is poised to reach a new level of success utilizing the Strategic Plan 2017-2019.  Three goals are inter-connected in significant ways and jointly contribute to reaching this new level.  They are:

SKILL SET

Required:  
• Bachelor’s degree and a combination of professional experience that enables the Executive Director/CEO to be a leader in the philanthropic community

• Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking capacity – and the ability to inspire and motivate others toward a shared vision
• Proven managerial skills to continue the development of a dedicated staff
• Proven record of sound financial management with the ability to review and understand financial reports, including investment portfolios
• A successful track record in fund development with the ability to cultivate and nurture donor relationships across a wide range of personalities and backgrounds
• Prior experience working for and interacting with a skilled and expert volunteer Board and volunteers
• The Executive Director/CEO is expected to live within Muscatine County. 

Desired:
• Advanced degree – nonprofit leadership, public policy, business, finance, legal or other related discipline
• Certification in areas relevant to the position such as certification in nonprofit management, Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPGCM) and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP). 
• Knowledge/experience working with or as part of a community foundation or other philanthropic entity

Inspect containers for quality defects before printing and after printing
Will sign and initial each proper tray pack label for shipping
Will work with lead printer to understand the customer order; type of product to be printed on, quantity of printed product and the quality criteria of the print to be placed on each piece
Understand the stack and quantity per tray, the direction of the product stack on the tray: openings up or down, handles turned in and proper labeling
Know how to properly place container onto the mandrel to avoid damaging the product or equipment
Will not allow containers to back up in the dryer
