WELDER, GRINDERS, METAL WORKERS

OVERVIEW

Temp-to-Hire job opportunity in Cantril, Iowa. Well established company with growth potential. Great opportunity for steel welders, ALUMINUM WELDERS, and plasma cutters.   

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Measures parts precisely using a tape measure
• Welds components and assemblies using welding equipment
• Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
• Operates grinder to remove excess metal and/or materials.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

• Dependable and reliable
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours
• Strong hand/eye coordination
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and decipher tape measure and spec sheets

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent attendance is a must!
• Pride in work and work area
• Self-motivated is a must!

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Prior welding experience and/or educational training in welding trade preferred
• Aluminum welding experience is a plus

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30pm

WAGE

• $14/hr. minimum, dependent on experience.  Bonus eligible
