Position Summary
Machine operators make sure their machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with materials needed, well-maintained and perform periodic quality checks on output. These positions will train on 1st shift and be moved to 2nd shift once trained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Follow written and verbal instruction.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
· Feed raw material or parts to machines and assure that they are properly clamped in place.
· Monitor equipment to assure proper function throughout the process.
· Monitor the process to assure that the finished products meet the quality and quantity constraints of the company.
· Control and adjust machine settings.
· Read blueprints for pertinent information.
· Inspect parts with precision measuring tools.
· De-burr, clean and package parts to required standards.
· Trouble shoot machine and/or process issues.
· Report to Supervisor(s) or Team Leads keeping them updated on production activities and progress.
· Communicate and/or document all pertinent information.
· Work alongside other employees with the common goal to improve performance and reliability of the process.

Qualifications and Essential Skills

· Mechanical and Technical Skills
· Stamina
· Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical degree is a plus.
· Qualified applicants will receive on-the-job training.

Background Information
· Must be able to pass a drug test.

Hours/Pay
*Position will train on 1st shift (M-Th 6:00 am - 4:30 pm) then schedule moves to night shift*

2nd shift: M-Th: 4:30 pm - 3 am 
$19.30 ($18 base pay + $1.30 shift premium)
*mandatory overtime on Friday when required
