OVERVIEW
This is for a temporary to direct hire long-term assignment at a premier manufacturing facilities in Cantril and Keosauqua, Iowa area. You will be responsible for the welding, assembly manufacturing process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans machining by studying work order, blueprint, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters

Welding/Fabrication experience preferred

Working on a variety of machines and in various areas

Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Dependable and reliable

Strong Manufacturing experience is a plus

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

DAY: Monday – Friday – 6:45am – 4pm (with the potential earning rate/production incentive)

DAY: Monday – Thursday - 6am – 3pm and Friday – 6am – 10am
-
Night: Monday – Thursday - 3pm to 1:30am
WAGE

$17+ per hour starting wage – it depends on your Welding Experience
-
Robotic Welding – Would be much higher – it depends on your Welding Experience

BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine the required specifications for each job.

Select the appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings for each bending operation.

Position metal plates and sheets onto the press brake machine and accurately align them according to the specified measurements.

Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and depth to ensure precise bending and shaping of the metal.

Monitor the operation of the press brake machine, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications, dimensions, and quality standards.

OVERVIEW
This is a Temp-to-Hire job opportunity in Sigourney, Iowa. In this position you will be responsible for making sand cores/castings for other foundries. The facility is not a foundry and has no molten metal operations of any kind. Steel toed safety boots/shoes are required for this facility.
