JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Measures parts precisely using a tape measure
  • Welds components and assemblies using welding equipment
  • Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
  • Operates grinder to remove excess metal and/or materials.

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

  • Dependable and reliable
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours
  • Strong hand/eye coordination
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and decipher tape measure and spec sheets
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Prior welding experience and/or educational training in welding trade preferred
  • Aluminum welding experience is a plus

 

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

  • Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30pm

 

WAGE

  • $14/hr. minimum, dependent on experience.  Bonus eligible

PROJECT ESTIMATOR (SAVANNA, IL)

Direct Hire position – this person will go directly on the payroll of the company they are being placed at.  Company will look at a relocation expense reimbursement for the right candidate.

 

OVERVIEW

Project Estimator will be responsible for deciding the projected time frame needed to complete a project and additional factors like labor needs, materials, budgets, and potential setbacks.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with homeowners, contractors and subcontractors to fully estimate new projects and remodel projects
  • Perform the estimating, ordering and scheduling of jobs
  • Attend jobsite meetings
  • Oversee the install department from start to finish

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

  • Prior experience as an estimator
  • 10-15 years experience installing residential, and commercial ductwork and equipment
  • IA mechanical license is a plus
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually
  • Good level of attention to detail
  • Ability to follow management requests and communicate effectively

WAGE

  • Salary = $80,000 or higher depending on experience

This is a Temp-to-Hire job opportunity at a Foundry in Fairfield.  In this position you will be responsible for iron pouring duties as may be assigned within the foundry.  Steel toed safety boots/shoes are required for this facility.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS OF THE PRODUCTION WORKER:

  • Take direction from Supervisor
  • Manual work as iron pourer
  • Assist in staging cores for molders
  • Assist with special inoculations, test wedges, and taking pouring temperatures
  • Find cores from core storage
  • Keep area around sand conveying equipment clean and remove sand as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Perform all operations in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

 

HOURS OF WORK & WAGE:

  • 4am – 4pm $18.50
  • 4pm – 4am $18.50

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE PRODUCTION WORKER:

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • Often required to be exposed to extreme heat
  • Must be comfortable working around moving parts
  • Must be comfortable working around loud noise
  • Occasionally required to work extended hours
