JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Currently recruiting Press Operators for a local manufacturer in Fort Madison, IA.    The Tool Changer is assigned to maintain molds, fill guns and assist in press maintenance as necessary. HOSE ASSEMBLY

OVERVIEW
This is a Temp-to-Hire job opportunity at a manufacturing facility in Burlington responsible for preparing tubing for shipment.  Will use various tools and techniques to conform to standard operating procedures and optimize program for efficient use of equipment and material.  Ability to ensure quality product.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read work order instruction and performs work as assigned by work order sheet
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to department
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and followed prescribed safety regulations
• Use of compressed air gun to remove contaminants, apply necessary fittings, O-rings, oil, caps and plugs, and inspect finished product prior to packing for shipment
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and place produce into designated pallets

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Repetitive motion: Heavy grasping, frequent forceful grasping, pushing and pulling
• May be exposed to hot/cold temperatures, vibration, chemical and noise exposure

  • Loading and unloading products using a forklift as well as through manual labor from and onto trucks
  • Follow proper handling procedure of the goods
  • Input data into the shipping system for load information
  • Lift and empty up to 50 pound bags of dry material into vats for processing
  • Other duties as may be assigned by management
