OVERVIEW
Area pipe insulating company is need of experienced pipe insulators to work in new construction areas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Install insulation around piping
-
Make necessary adjustment for pipe fitting

Measure, cut, fabricate insulation & metal jackets using sharp knives, saws, tin snips, etc
-
Climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding
-
Work off elevated lifts and/or extension ladders taller than 12’ occasionally

Work in a construction environment

Work indoor and outdoor temperatures

Work in confined spaces on occasion or as needed (tunnels, attics, building chases)
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with pipe insulation/craftsman trade

Must be able to provide own basic tools (tape measure, sharp knife, razor knife-with retractable blade, channel lock type pliers, scissors, and tin snips

Dependable and reliable

Read & use tape measure along with basic math skills

Listen and understand directions, then apply

Be able to carry anywhere from 50-100lbs

Set up and run folder gluer machine in order to fold and glue assorted sizes and styles of folding cartons/packaging while minimizing set-up time and minimize waste as well as lead team of peers on folder gluer to achieve production goals and meet all shipment dates.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect product to identify and remove sub-standard and defective quality product
• Slit material according to specific job and quality requirements
• Work in job order according to the schedule provided
• Maintain size within job specifications +/- to 1/32”
• Keep machine running and downtime minimal
• Work efficiently to keep waste to a minimum
• Correctly label boxes and skids with pertinent information
• Keep area clean
• Accurately complete all paperwork and radius input
• Miscellaneous work as assigned by Team Lead
