OVERVIEW 

 

Miles/Preston area has immediate opening for a full-time teller. Tellers are responsible for accurately processing routine transactions at a bank. These transactions include, but are not limited to, cashing checks, depositing money, and collecting loan payments.

  • Provide prompt, courteous and professional banking services that exceed the expectations of its customers.

  • Count the cash in their drawer at the start of their shift
  • Accept checks, cash, and other forms of payment from customers
  • Answer questions from customers about their accounts
  • Prepare specialized types of funds, such as traveler’s checks, savings bonds, and money orders
  • Order bank cards and checks for customers
  • Record all transactions electronically throughout their shift

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma
  • Good personal credit
  • Clean criminal background

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

  • Hours range from 7:15 AM – 5 PM M-F & some Saturdays 8 AM to 12 PM

Sorters

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Familiarity with shop order and rejection material notification forms
  • Properly identifies product with sorted good/bad tickets
  • Prepares containers with appropriate markings
  • Adheres to recordkeeping procedures for pieces sorted, quantities, reasons
  • Supports continuous quality improvement   
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and guidelines.
  • Other duties may be assigned or required for this position.

Drying Plant

OVERVIEW:

  • Temp Associates has a 90 day temp to hire Drying Plant Packager position available in Clinton, IA.

BASIC FUNCTION:

  • Packaging and inspection of all powder products according to SPC specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operation of the packager, scale, and hopper vibrator.
  • Fork truck operation and propane tank removal and installation.
  • Package fabrication and understanding box schedule and instructions including:
  1. Stenciling
  2. Label placement
  3. Taping
  4. Inserting bags
  5. Follow any special instructions
  6. Location of materials (tape, stencils, etc.)
  • Repair pallets.
  • Assist in loading and unloading vans.
  • Access to all four levels of the plant is required to assist in assembling and disassembling equipment, including the atomizer.
  • Recycle cardboard.
  • Qualify as a drying plant operator, liquid production operator and filter operator.
  • Via visual inspection insure that the weight and packaging of the powder meet all SPC specs.
  • Rotate stock.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Operate according to accepted Good Manufacturing Practices to insure the integrity of the finished product. Monitor HACCP conditions for metal detection.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES WITH PERCENTAGE OF TIME:

  • 60% Packaging
  • 40% Other related duties

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

  • None

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • High School graduate, good understanding of math and sciences with computer operating skills

Experience:

  • Industrial Manufacturing

Knowledge:

  • Safety practices in handling chemicals and working with high pressure equipment

Physical:

  • Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., reaching, walking, standing, twisting, and stair climbing.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normally air-conditioned atmosphere with some exposure to high heat and humidity during cleaning operations. Exposure to caramel aromatics.

SHIFT:

  • Rotating 8 hr. shifts, Sundays, and rotating 12 hr. shifts (scheduled 7 days/week operation)

WAGE:

  • Starting at $21.60
  • $22.10 when hired at 90 days
  • $23.10 at 6 months
  • $.75 raise yearly for years 1-4

HVAC Estimator/ Project Manager

Job Overview
The HVAC Estimator/ Project Manager provides estimating for mechanical systems to include, furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork design and new and remodel construction projects. This includes project estimating, bidding, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, labor management, material procurement, quality control, jobsite safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC materials and equipment
  • Estimate labor costs, material costs, equipment, and subcontracted work
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
  • Prepare detailed and accurate project cost estimates and bid proposals
  • Perform jobsite visits and assist installers and contractors with scheduling projects
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and pricing data
  • Track changes in material costs, labor rates, and market conditions
  • Assist with change order pricing as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years field experience or education in project management
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with computer
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards
  • Experience with commercial and/or residential HVAC projects
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with duct drawing and load calculation software

Work Environment

Lubrication Technician

OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES

The Machinery Lubrication Technician will be responsible for executing lubrication tasks related to industrial machinery including but not limited to:

  • Re-grease electric motors
  • Re-grease bearings
  • Visual machine inspections
  • Breather changes
  • Oil changes
  • Oil & Grease sample collection
  • Perform minor equipment modifications
  • Identify areas for improvement with respect to machinery lubrication & contamination control

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and good team building skills.
  • Goal oriented, detail oriented, and interested in advancement and professional growth.
  • Capability to work in an unsupervised position effectively.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) for the purpose of interpreting alarms, calculating lubricant inventory and calculating re-lubrication quantity considerations, etc…
  • Have a strong fundamental understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and circulating systems operation, and contamination control and maintenance functions.
  • Should be qualified to perform lockout-tag out procedures.
  • Must have demonstrated initiative and strong work habits.
