A local non-profit organization of Muscatine is seeking a Housing Stability Manager. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Identifies eligible participants for the program, interprets standards and guidelines to potential clients/guests, answers questions, obtains consent for services, and makes referrals based upon program requirements and client/guest needs.

Conduct check in process with new clients/guests and assure accuracy of documentation.

Determines need and makes recommendations for continuation of or change in services.
-
Provides case management for clients/guests who have been identified as homeless or at risk of being homeless while identifying barriers and working to remove those barriers.

Refers and follows up on the receipt of services; coordinates, consults and collaborates with service providers, landlords and employers.

Attend meetings with Shelter Care Supervisor and provide sound input into the appropriateness of clientele/guests.

Work with potential employers to advocate for clients/guests while building skills with clients’/guests’ to increase their employability.

Work with landlords to advocate for clients’/guests’ needs and reduce barriers to housing while collaborating closely with Shelter Care Supervisor on skill building for clients/guests.

Arranges for transportation for and encourages attendance at scheduled appointments.

Documents records regarding case management/counseling activities and termination as appropriate; prepares required reports – caseload reports, case logs, etc.

Establishes contact with and serves on committees of agencies and organizations serving the homeless and or at risk of being homeless population in the Muscatine area.
Educational/Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
3 years’ experience in Human services, Social Work, Mental Health, or Case management
-
Management experience is a plus
-
Able to work alone with little supervision
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.

Position Summary
Machine operators make sure their machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and perform periodic quality checks on output.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Follow written and verbal instruction.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
· Feed raw material or parts to machines and assure that they are properly clamped in place.
· Monitor equipment to assure proper function throughout the process.
· Monitor the process to assure that the finished products meet the quality and quantity constraints of the company.
· Control and adjust machine settings.
· Read blueprints for pertinent information.
· Inspect parts with precision measuring tools.
· De-burr, clean and package parts to required standards.
· Trouble shoot machine and/or process issues.
· Report to Supervisor(s) or Team Leads keeping them updated on production activities and progress.
· Communicate and/or document all pertinent information.
· Work alongside other employees with the common goal to improve performance and reliability of the process.
Qualifications and Essential Skills

· Stamina
· Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical degree is a plus.
· Qualified applicants will receive on-the-job training.

1st shift: Mon-Thurs: 6 am - 4:30 pm - $13
2nd shift: Mon-Thurs: 4:30 pm - 3 am -$13.60
**Regular shift will be 2nd shift hours, but will train on 1st shift hours**
