OVERVIEW
A local logistics company is seeking warehouse help related to repackaging, receipt, shipping, storage, and distribution. These positions will also assist in loading, unloading, and moving or storing items by hand or equipment according to delivery, routing, or supervisor instructions. Positions are 1st or 2nd shift (2nd shift will train on 1st shift for a few weeks), and could lead to full-time employment with the company!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Count items received and verify them against packaging lists, recording any discrepancies, or damage

OVERVIEW
Local employer is looking for a full time Inspection/FIG (Flow In Gasket) Operator to fill a temp to hire position. Pay starts at $17.50/hr.
The FIG/Secondary Operator ensures quality products are being produced and the equipment is being operated per the approved processes. To assure that all lids are installed with gaskets, caps, plugs or labels per customer specifications and are being manufactured and packaged according to companies quality standards in a safe and efficient manner.
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up the equipment to match customer order specifications and ensure production schedules are met timely.

Promptly correct machinery malfunctions
-
Oversees the starting and stopping of the equipment, housekeeping, cleaning of equipment and quality control of product produced.

Performs necessary adjustments to the process to ensure acceptable product.
-
Will notify the manager of production, scrap and fill out any documentation and production reports.
-
Manual installation of plugs/caps.
-
Validate gasket installation with validating machine.
-
Apply screw caps with torque unit.
-
Install caps/plugs using cap installation machine.
-
Visually inspect lids.
-
Prepare proper product identification and/or packaging labels.
-
Maintain, clean and organize assigned work area.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Mechanical aptitude, ability to work with hand tools.

Ability to use common measuring tools.

Able to work around chemicals.

Must be able to calculate using general math.

Must be able to identify alpha/numeric product codes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A manufacturer of harvesting components is hiring for a 1st shift material handler/paint booth position. This company in located in Durant, IA.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and parts utilizing pneumatic painting equipment and paint booth
- Utilize overhead cranes, straps and rigging, fork lifts and other tools to handle material throughout the facility including loading & unloading shipping racks and trucks according to production schedules
- Ensure that you are painting according to common best practices and meet all safety guidelines including the use of a respirator
- Clean up machine parts and work stations after finished production orders, comply with 5S audits
- Assemble products according to standard work
- Achieve production goals set out by production planning and leadership
- Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor and management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year painting and/or experience in a production setting
- Solid understanding of standard work and documentation procedures in manufacturing
- Ability to read, understand and apply production blue prints, assembly instructions, and quality plans
