SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and facilities equipment.
  • Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
  • Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Completes maintenance work orders, submitting to manager and/or entering into maintenance software, as required.
  • Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
  • Understands and troubleshoots and/or replaces or repairs PLC controllers.
  • Reads and interprets manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnoses problems, replaces and repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments
  • Performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detects faulty operations, defective materials and reports unusual situations to appropriate supervisor.
  • Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work place.
  • Supports employee training and development in total productive/predictive maintenance.
  • Updates employees and team on the status of requested maintenance support.
  • Completes corrective action reports as required.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school or vocational school and completion of craft apprenticeship along with related on-the-job experience in production maintenance and manufacturing environments.
  • 7 plus years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certificates and Licenses: Trade or vocational certifications preferred. Other trade certifications or in-depth experience may be required, (i.e., HVAC/EPA certifications, weights & measures technology and LOTO procedures preferred). Fork truck certification or experience preferred.

1st shift 7am – 3pm

2nd shift 2:30pm – 11pm

3rd shift 11pm – 7:30am

Quality Assurance Position

Responsible for hanging parts on the appropriate rack in the prescribed manner.  This position is also responsible for properly preparing each part for maximum success going through the paint system; this can include but is not limited to sanding, wiping, flame treating and prewashing.  This position requires good hand/eye coordination.

  • Ability to prep all parts with minimal error.

  • Ability to set up racks without supervision.                                          
  • Basic knowledge of program specific forms that need to be filled out.                      
  • Ability to handle the two way radio and being able to call out for racks and respond to inquiries to load when necessary.         
  • Ability to communicate defects with management and customers if necessary.

QA Lab Tech

OVERVIEW

Clinton, IA manufacturing facility is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to administer all key check points for incoming ingredients, maintain chemical records of all checks, and assure compliance with quality specifications. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform required chemical, physical, and sensory analysis on ingredients and finished products in an accurate and timely manner, notifying the QA Manager, QA Team Leader and appropriate team leaders, buying department, and St. Louis QA immediately of substandard results as appropriate.  Hold all substandard materials and communicate as appropriate
  2. Aseptically sample finished product for microbiological testing
  3. Clearly and accurately communicate test results and trends to production through various communication platforms
  4. Run all Reference Samples at desired frequency
  5. Review and maintain accurate records including GPMQ data entry
  6. Maintain and calibrate lab and unloading test equipment and assist as necessary with the maintenance and calibration of the testing equipment located throughout the plant
  7. Send VNR notification pertaining to any ingredient test result that is out of specification or out of the control range.

 

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; AA Degree preferred
  • Experience: Previous QA lab experience preferred
  • Laboratory is located on the second level, must be able to use stairs repeatedly through shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing : 60%, Walking: 30%, Sitting: 10% of your shift

2. Assist individuals served to understand and follow their physician’s orders regarding diets, repositioning, and range of motion, etc.

3. Employees providing overnight services will monitor and supervise individuals served according to each individual ICP/Personal Plan.

4. Facilitate communication and provide other necessary assistance to individuals served to attend medical appointments and therapies.

5. Maintain and submit all required documentation daily (e.g., time sheets, expense reports, progress notes, and other required daily paperwork).

6. Review and complete documentation for individual medication sheets, data collection sheets and communication logs as required.

7. Provide incidental transportation in privately owned vehicle, or by agency owned vehicle, for individuals served as needed. This may include transporting to and from Day Programming, Doctor Appointments, etc.  This may occur within City of Clinton, Clinton County or regionally such as Davenport or Iowa City. Conditions of driving may be during the day, night, and various weather conditions.

8. Must remain alert and awake while providing services throughout scheduled shift. No sleeping is allowed during any shift.

9. Adhere to work schedule unless prior arrangements are made through direct Supervisor or Designee.

10. Must be able to manage time effectively, to work alone and as a team member.

11. Communicate regularly with Supervisor, Coordinator and stakeholders as needed regarding individual’s progress, issues and concerns.

12. Other duties as assigned
