Summary:
We are looking for someone to operate hotforming presses.  The successful team member will operate the machine in accordance with specifications and tooling instructions.

Work Hours (Shift): 2nd Shift (Nights), 3pm-2:30am

          with Training will be on 1st shift, 5am-3pm

Starting Pay: $18.00

Responsibilities Include:
·         Performing tooling setups and tooling/product change-overs
·         Monitoring product output
·         Measuring the forged blank with the appropriate measuring equipment
·         Interpreting and responding to tool wear and machine conditions to determine necessary adjustments
·         Using overhead crane to load raw material onto machine

Experience and Qualifications :
·         High school education or equivalent
·         Mechanical skills preferred

  • Ability to multi-task as position may include more than one job duty at a time.·
  • Good communication skills as this position will be dealing with multiple people both in control room and on the phone.·
  • Critical thinking skills as this is a direct loading facility (load to vessel and/or rail without the use of shipping bins).·
  • Time management and ability to prioritize as day to day operations change throughout the day.

The role of a Tool & Die Maker – A is to Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools by performing the following duties listed below.  The Tool & Die Maker – A reports to the Principal Manufacturing Engineer. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.
• Set-up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts, and verify conformance of machine parts to specifications. 
• Smooth flat and contoured surfaces and power grinders, and fit and assemble parts together and into assemblies and mechanisms.
• Verify dimension, alignments, and clearances.
• Heat treat tools or parts.
• Examine standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommend design modifications regarding construction and function of part.
• Develop specifications from general description for specialty tools and draw or sketch design of product.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Forklift License required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Social Media: The Company also uses Face book to educate and inform the community and current and potential donors about The company using and fresh information that supports the annual plan and campaign needs. Content should include pictures and results as well as promote events and activities.
  • Other Duties: Website development and social media content is only one facet of The company marketing approach. Other needs include developing fliers, emails, posters, advertising items, and other items assigned for campaign and other events to promote education and understanding of what The company does and its role in the community.
