HVAC Project Manager

Direct Hire position – this person will go directly on the payroll of the company they are being placed at.  Company will look at a relocation expense reimbursement for the right candidate.

HVAC Project Manager is involved in all aspects of designing, planning, coordinating, staffing, and executing HVAC installation projects. Will work with a wide variety of other professionals, including building owners, developers, architects, engineers and other contractors to ensure the HVAC systems are installed within the allotted budget and time schedule.  Significant experience with HVAC installations is important for this career. HVAC Project Manager must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in installation of commercial HVAC systems. Project Manages must be able to multitask and stay positive while troubleshooting in stressful situations. Project Managers lead a team of people during installations and should be personable, open-minded and energetic.  Will be responsible for assisting in estimating and scheduling projects.  Will oversee current inventory and ordering materials for upcoming projects.  Handle scheduling and training of employees.  

 

Salary Range

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

Required Education & Training

High school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement and a HVAC background

Preferred Education & Training

Previous project management experience is a plus

Part-Time Food Service

OVERVIEW

The Cook/Food Service Worker prepares meals for the residents and guests and maintains a clean work environment.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for residents.  Follows standardized procedures and recipes as necessary.
  • Prepares lists of food and other supplies needed.
  • Cleans work area, including appliances, and assigned areas after each meal.
  • Provides supervision to other employees as required.
  • Prepares and/or supervises preparation of baked goods, salads and other cold foods.
  • Assists with special events such as retreats, receptions, etc.
  • Performs other related functions as assigned.
  • Assists in putting food on the serving table.
  • Assists residents with food trays as needed.
  • Washes utensils and dishes; operates dishwasher.

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

  • Previous cooking experience preferred.
  • Ability to plan, change and execute plans as needed.
  • Ability to determine portions and size of servings.
  • Ability to modify recipes to fit the number of residents.
  • Ability to give, receive and follow directions.

  • Approx. 21hrs./wk. Every other weekend and typically Tues. and Thurs. through the week will need to have flexibility in the hours.

 

WAGE

  • $16.17/hr.

Dryer Plant

OVERVIEW:

  • Temp Associates has a 90 day temp to hire Drying Plant Packager position available in Clinton, IA with Sethness Roquette.

BASIC FUNCTION:

  • Packaging and inspection of all powder products according to SPC specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operation of the packager, scale, and hopper vibrator.
  • Fork truck operation and propane tank removal and installation.
  • Package fabrication and understanding box schedule and instructions including:
  1. Stenciling
  2. Label placement
  3. Taping
  4. Inserting bags
  5. Follow any special instructions
  6. Location of materials (tape, stencils, etc.)
  • Repair pallets.
  • Assist in loading and unloading vans.
  • Access to all four levels of the plant is required to assist in assembling and disassembling equipment, including the atomizer.
  • Recycle cardboard.
  • Qualify as a drying plant operator, liquid production operator and filter operator.
  • Via visual inspection insure that the weight and packaging of the powder meet all SPC specs.
  • Rotate stock.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Operate according to accepted Good Manufacturing Practices to insure the integrity of the finished product. Monitor HACCP conditions for metal detection.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES WITH PERCENTAGE OF TIME:

  • 60% Packaging
  • 40% Other related duties

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

  • None

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • High School graduate, good understanding of math and sciences with computer operating skills

Experience:

  • Industrial Manufacturing

Knowledge:

  • Safety practices in handling chemicals and working with high pressure equipment

Physical:

  • Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., reaching, walking, standing, twisting, and stair climbing.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normally air-conditioned atmosphere with some exposure to high heat and humidity during cleaning operations. Exposure to caramel aromatics.

SHIFT:

  • Rotating 8 hr. shifts, Sundays, and rotating 12 hr. shifts (scheduled 7 days/week operation)

WAGE:

  • Starting at $21.60
  • $22.10 when hired at 90 days
  • $23.10 at 6 months
  • $.75 raise yearly for years 1-4
