JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs autogauge setup and troubleshooting

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Two-year technical degree preferred
• Basic knowledge of measuring tools and blueprints
• Willingness to work overtime, including some weekends

Welders Clinton, IA

OVERVIEW
Local company currently seeking an experienced welder for the Auger Mount department.  The duties of the welder will be to perform repetitive duties, welding components on shafts to various sized Augers.  The welder will work from shop orders, verbal instructions provided, and blueprints.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set heat temperatures on welders.  Hand crank material into location.  Position attachment or flight and activate welder; inspect weld and make minor adjustments as necessary.
  • Inspect welds for proper location and making minor adjustments to position of welder gun.
  • Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective material and refer questionable cases to supervisor.  Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper manner.
  • Place finished chain on pallet.  When flight welding, must be able to lift chain from pallet to weld bench and back to pallet when completed.
  • Responsible for quality:  Accept training in blueprint reading, use of gauges and measuring tools common to manufacturing, along with related statistical process control principles and other quality control procedures.
  • Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety practices/procedures.
  • Complete all training necessary to ensure all job specifications are met. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years of manufacturing welding experience desired. 
  • Blueprint reading

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Welding certification preferred.

  • 2nd shift (2:30pm to 1am Monday through Thurs + overtime)

Experienced Forklift Operators

Position Summary:

The forklift operator is self-directed in performing a variety of somewhat repetitive duties, primarily associated with the receiving, shipping, storing, and moving of materials.  Work from load list, shop orders, bills of lading, and verbal instructions.

Essential Job Duties: 

• Load and unload material from common carrier using forklift or dollies.  Inventory all items received by count or number and store in specified areas.  Band and tag material. 
• Responsible for accuracy of load list with material to assure proper shipping.
• Deliver materials or parts to various plant locations or machining operations as directed.  Pack, stack, and band for shipment; lift, move, and store material from finished operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklift, such as checking tires, oil, battery, water, and gas.
• Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective material and refer unusual conditions to supervisor. 
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper manner.
• Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures. 
• Responsible for quality:  Accept training in blueprint reading, use of gauges and measuring tools common to manufacturing, along with related statistical process control principles and other quality control procedures.
• Use portable scanners to make inventory transactions as required by the operation being performed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Record and verify paint certifications and other documents for the paint department
• Work with shipping of in-bound and out-bound parts to meet customer specifications
• Assist shipping department with special packaging and inspections – such as test parts and service requirements
• Assist as needed in sampling new parts and documenting the paint processes
• Assist inspecting and determining root-cause for company rejects, defects or product returns
• Coordinate and document quality concerns to make both shifts aware of present issues
• Assist QA line and other supervisors as required
• Work with new and current employees (load, QA, buff, sand and shipping) to maintain high quality levels
• Advise employees and supervisors when quality levels are not being maintained or procedures that are not followed.
• Assist with packaging and inventory of raw or finished product part for service or production.

Vibration Techinican

Minimum Qualifications to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; certificate or diploma from a trade school or mechanical engineering degree plus
  • Must possess or have ability to obtain an ASNT-TC1A or ASNT-CP189 Level II or higher Vibration Analyst
  • 5+ years related experience performing electro-mechanical vibration analysis on industrial rotating machinery
  • Working knowledge in spectral, time waveform and phase analysis, and routine and advanced data acquisition techniques.
  • Ability to perform dynamic field balancing
  • Experience with Emonitor software highly desired

 

 

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Collect vibration data and perform vibration analysis using Allen Bradley signal analyzer
  • Perform cross-channel phase analysis
  • Write reports of findings and recommendations for customers
  • Ensure the proper management of vibration database in Emonitor software
  • Meet with customers to review and evaluate identified needs
  • Assist when necessary field services technicians on various project work
