This is a Temp-to-hire opportunity. This dynamic position in a local Law Firm will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This position will be responsible for answering phones, directing calls, greeting customers, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, updating paperwork, billing, and additional clerical duties as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

  • Greeting customers
  • Answer phones/taking messages
  • Assisting customers on the phone
  • Receive/sort incoming mail
  • Maintains confidentiality in all communication with clients and attorney
  • Documents and inputs attorney’s billable hours and generates invoices to clients
  • Maintains/orders office supplies
  • Production of information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copy, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
  • Assist in coordination of case preparation
  • Maintains attorney’s calendar and scheduling

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Previous experience in an administrative/customer service position in a legal office setting

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

  • Monday—Friday 8 am—5pm

WAGE

  • $18-20/hr. DOE
