OVERVIEW
Load shipments accurately and efficiently and receive incoming goods for a local manufacturing facility in Fairfield

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates forklift for product movement        
  • Data entry,  create Bill of Ladings (BOL) and all associated paper work
  • Pick  parts in a warehouse to fill orders,  package and load into trucks
  • Receive and move parts to correct locations in warehouse
  • Follow company procedural and safety policies
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Excellent attendance record and safe working practices
  • Prior forklift experience         
  • Prior shipping/receiving experience
  • Experience in data entry, creating Bill of Ladings (BOL) and all associated paperwork
  • Able to regularly work overtime
  • Prior experience in picking parts in a warehouse to fill orders

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Environment is hot and humid in the summer months

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able  to lift 10-30lbs regularly
  • Able to lift 60lbs occasionally
  • Stand for long periods of time

HOURS

  • 7:00am-3:30pm or
  • 4pm to 11pm

WAGE/SALARY

  • 1st shift $10.50
  • 2nd shift $11.25
