MACHINE OPERATOR-BONAPARTE

OVERVIEW
Plastics Company in Bonaparte is seeking a 2nd and 3rd shift Machine Operator. These are temp to hire positions!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Seek quality information and proper operating procedures from prior Operator five minutes before shift change and before breaks.
  • Read press books daily on each job to stay current on proper operating procedures.
  • Operate molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and granulators as instructed.
  • Identify problems with parts, machinery, or mold, and immediately inform Inspector, Building Foreman, and/or Shift Supervisor.
  • When machine is down, routinely perform cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILL SETS REQUIRED

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Frequent lifting up to 45 lbs. may be required.
  • Knowledgeable on use of hand tools.
  • Able to effectively perform job responsibilities.

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

  • Monday-Friday
  • 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm and 3rd shift: 11pm-7am

WAGE/SALARY

  • $11.15 per hour

This is a long term assignment at a premier manufacturing facility in Cantril, Iowa. You will be responsible for assembly of products throughout the manufacturing process. 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assembly of products throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Operate metal brakes, shears and ironworkers

This job opportunity is with a plastics manufacturing facility in Fairfield. In this position you will operate blow-mold machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate blow-mold machines to ensure production of quality products and perform audits, weights, and quality checks.
  • Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure
  • Make adjustments to meet product specifications
  • Grind/trim excess materials from products
  • Prepare & document daily production reports including rejects, regrind, and line efficiencies

Creating and building beautifully crafted wood products is what this job opportunity is all about.  You must have previous woodworking experience.  For the right candidate this will be a temp-to-hire job opportunity.

  • Create and test wood products
  • Cut, shape, and smooth wood parts and products
  • Build wood products using a variety of tools including but not limited to drill presses lathes,  shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and wood nailing machine.
