OVERVIEW
32 Hour per week positions in housekeeping within a healthcare facility in Keosauqua.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, administrative offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, and public restrooms
  • Make beds and empty trash
  • Collect dirty laundry and distribute cleaning linen and gowns to appropriate areas
  • Launder hospital linens

SKILLS

  • Ability to use a variety of cleaning supplies
  • Ability to follow appropriate cleaning instructions including choice of cleaning agents
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent

SHIFT/WAGE

  • Evening shift, Monday and Friday 4:30pm to 12:30am, plus every 3rd weekend
  • $10.50/hr, also will include shift differential for evenings and when on weekend shift

  • Plans machining by studying work order, blueprint, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters
  • Working on a variety of machines and in various areas
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces

MACHINE OPERATOR-BONAPARTE

Plastics Company in Bonaparte is seeking a 2nd and 3rd shift Machine Operator. These are temp to hire positions!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Seek quality information and proper operating procedures from prior Operator five minutes before shift change and before breaks.
  • Read press books daily on each job to stay current on proper operating procedures.
  • Operate molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and granulators as instructed.
  • Identify problems with parts, machinery, or mold, and immediately inform Inspector, Building Foreman, and/or Shift Supervisor.
  • When machine is down, routinely perform cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILL SETS REQUIRED

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Frequent lifting up to 45 lbs. may be required.
  • Knowledgeable on use of hand tools.
  • Able to effectively perform job responsibilities.

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

  • Monday-Friday
  • 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm and 3rd shift: 11pm-7am

WAGE/SALARY

  • $11.15 per hour

  • Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure
  • Make adjustments to meet product specifications
  • Grind/trim excess materials from products
  • Prepare & document daily production reports including rejects, regrind, and line efficiencies
