OVERVIEW
Assist research department in gathering data for quality seed hybrids.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Will be responsible for sampling corn by hand picking ears of corn from plot.
• Shell the corn from the ears
• Clean, weigh and size corn
• Count seed 
• Enter data into spreadsheets

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to work outside in a corn field environment and also inside in a research/lab setting
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time throughout the day
• Must be able to carry 40 lbs.
• Able to work together in a team environment.
• Computer skills helpful
• Comply with all safety standards

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School Diploma preferred

WORK HOURS/SHIFT
Day hours with overtime as needed. Some Saturdays required.
Seasonal work to November

OVERVIEW
Long term temporary job opportunity for a person to assist the order department in getting order issues resolved and shipments out in a timely manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Validate order pricing, deliver and manufacturing location.
• Investigate and resolve order import issues.
• Investigate and resolve order holds.
• Perform detailing activities necessary to communicate an accurate bill of material in the business system, interact with engineering and order administrative staff.
• Monitor and update order status.

This career opportunity is with a local manufacturing company in Marshalltown.  The position will be PRN to begin and may work into a full-time position.  Responsible for following the administration of efficient and professional operations of occupational health services in accordance with company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations to achieve overall goal and objectives. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administering first aid as needed
• Completing all appropriate documentation as it relates to first aid occurrences
• Follow all policies and guidelines set forth by management

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to read and interpret documents relating to safety rules, operating /maintenance instruction and procedure manuals.

Production Worker

OVERVIEW
Perform a variety of factory production tasks including but not limited to: various machine operations, assembly of products, spot welding, shearing, painting, insulation, packaging, shipping, material handling, etc. Workers will be willing to work in all areas of production as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs job duties in a safe manner and report any unsafe practices

• Operate machinery to bend, brake, spot weld parts
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• Meet daily production goals
• Communicates and listens in an effective and friendly manner.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret job production orders.

• Ability to perform work with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate in a competent and friendly manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regularly required to stand, use hands, fingers, arms; frequent reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling and gripping.  Frequent lifting, generally 10 to 50 lbs.; occasional repetitive movement; handle fiberglass insulation and mild chemicals.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School diploma or GED highly preferred
Previous manufacturing experience preferred

WORK HOURS/SHIFT
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday

WAGE
$9.00 per hour starting
