Temp Associates is currently hiring for Midwest Vinyl products; a leader in Vinyl & Aluminum fencing, decking, railing & column products for the past 23 years.  This Warehouse position is a Temp-to-Hire job opportunity responsible for the shipment to the customer of product. We are seeking a candidate who has strong attention to detail, well organized, able to follow instructions but also work independently.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Read work order instruction and performs work as assigned by work order sheet and supervisor.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the owner of the company
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: locate inventory, follow work orders for correct quantity, quality, and packaging per customer specifications, and load packaged goods onto trucks.
• Have the ability to operate material handling equipment including fork trucks
• Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to specific customer product requests.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Operate & maintain power saws & forklift
• Operate standard CNC machine for special orders

PIPE INSULATORS

OVERVIEW
Area pipe insulating company is in need of pipe insulators for construction projects in the area.  Will be required to wear a hardhat, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves (provided).  Must wear safety boots, long pants and a minimum of short sleeve shirt

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install insulation around piping
• Make necessary adjustment for pipe fitting
• Measure, cut, and fabricate insulation & metal jackets using sharp knives, saws, tin snips, etc.
• Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding
• Work off elevated lifts and/or extension ladders
• Work in a construction environment
• Work in indoor and outdoor climates
• Work in confined spaces on occasion or as needed

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Construction background or motivation to learn a new skill set
• Ability to provide own basic tools (tape measure, sharp knife, razor knife (with retractable blade), channel lock pliers, scissors, and tin snips

ASSEMBLY TECH

OVERVIEW
Long term contract opportunities with well established Burlington manufacturing facility.  The Assembly Technician will perform a wide variety of operations in the assembly, wiring, and finish processing of medium and low voltage switchgear components and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for producing a variety of high variation products on both moving assembly lines as well as static project builds.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assemble and fit mechanical and electrical parts / components (i.e. sheet metal, copper, insulating materials and various components) to specified tolerances Install devices, route wire harnesses and wire various devices within the equipment
• Perform all job functions in accordance with the Engineering documentation, process instructions, and required tolerances
• Work from 2D and 3D drawings, sketches, verbal, and written instruction
• Use a variety of computer software to manage production orders and to view and print engineering drawings
• Appropriately record forms, signoff sheets, and checklists
• Complete annual safety training
• Be responsible for tool cleaning and maintenance and well as general housekeeping
• Support our continuous improvement processes through our Lean initiatives
• Perform other related duties, as required

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 1 year of proven success in a manufacturing assembly position
• Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting blueprints / drawings
• Strong command and understanding of shop math (i.e. decimals, add and subtract equations, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience working with hand and power tools
• Ability to use various measuring devices in a manufacturing setting
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing various computer systems in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to work from complex mechanical and electrical summaries, drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, process instructions and other similar type documents
• Demonstrated understanding of safety, quality and Lean methodologies in the workplace
• Experienced in the use of various computer programs in an industrial setting

ORDER FILLER/PACKER

This is a Temp-to-Hire job opportunity at a warehouse facility in Burlington.  This position works in the shipping/receiving area and employee is responsible for picking orders from a printed sheet and filling small tubs.  Filled tubs could weigh up to 40lbs.  Use forklift to get product out of racks.  Rotate every 4 hours picking orders vs driving forklift.  Computer use is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Loading and unloading products using a forklift as well as through manual labor from and onto trucks
• Follow proper handling procedure of the goods
• Input data into the shipping system for load information
• Lift and empty up to 50 pound bags of dry material into vats for processing
• Other duties as may be assigned by management
