Our Grinnell client is looking for a temp to hire Metal Fabricator.  Our client is one of the country’s leading suppliers to contractors of commercial and industrial sheet metal ductwork.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operating machines, such as press brakes, roll formers and shears.  Welding including MIG & TIG

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior machine operation (press brakes, roll formers, and sheers) and welding (MIG & TIG).  Experience with sheet metal, stainless and galvanized steel. 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• HS Diploma or GED

WORK HOURS/SHIFT
• Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm Some overtime is required

WAGE
• $17.30  per hour.

MACHINE OPERATOR – LARGE MOLD

This job opportunity is with a plastics manufacturing facility in Grinnell and is considered a long term assignment.  You will be working with large molds and you will get your hands dirty.  STEEL TOED BOOTS/SHOES ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS FACILITY.     

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Mold work includes pouring molds, loading/unloading mold, removing finished product, and trimming product. (You will be part of a two man team)
• Adhere to quality control and to process procedures

• Transport material (virgin or regrind resin, colorant, packaging material etc.) to the press
• Keep machine hoppers full at all times (verify the specific material before loading hoppers)

• Remove parts from injection molding machines or conveyors and inspect for quality defects.
• Trim, clip, and assemble parts as specified and package approximately
• Label boxes and stack skids with boxes for shipping
• Complete production reports
• Other duties as assigned
